I love reading a book you are slightly too stupid for
ways to keep reading despite feeling stupid because the tags you all keep adding have made me realize that my post is being used to self harm:
recognize that stupidity is a cultural concept leveraged against stigmatized populations who operate from devalued spheres of intelligence
notice feelings of panic and shame and frustration rising in your body when you encounter a difficult text, react to them like a loving friend who thinks you deserve to learn things
recognize the conditioning it takes to convince someone they are too stupid to deserve to learn things
go back and read a difficult text whose meaning and nuances escaped you the first time around after you read two or three more and the first one has had time to cook in your brain
open your brain’s mouth like a whale shark and cruise through the water digesting anything that gets caught in your filter plates
Nobody should be using GPT detectors for anything important.
This is from a recent study that found that GPT detectors were misclassifying writing by non-native English speakers as AI-generated 48-76% of the time (!!!), compared to 0%-12% for native speakers.

It is irresponsible to use AI-generated text detectors as evidence of academic misconduct, and that’s putting it mildly.
I am in love with how tenderly Brennan is taking these queens through their first session of DnD. He switches so expertly, as he should because he’s an expert, to give each queen what she needs during her opening vignette. He matches them where they are, encourages them to go further, but never demands that they be better at a game they’re playing for the first time on camera.
Anyway, I can’t wait until they’re crying off their flawless makeup when he fucks them up in the finale epilogue.
one of the best things ever is when u find a really talented artist whos obsessed with an obscure/unpopular character and just lovingly draws their underrated guy 30 times a day even tho all their posts get 5 notes. these ppl are the backbone of society. they’re thriving theyre mentally unchained
